Residential Care Services Manager

“I’ve been part of this warm, welcoming community for over 30 years, and every day here is amazing. Exploring aged care can feel new and uncertain; that’s a common feeling for many families, so you’re not alone. We’ll be very glad to meet you for a visit.”
With lush natural surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere, Baptcare Brookview provides the relaxing ‘go-your-own-pace’ feel of country life with all the convenience of inner suburban living.

Wake up to the fresh scent of gumtrees every morning while overlooking Yuroke Creek and Broadmeadows Valley Trail. Spot families of kangaroos bouncing around at dusk and dawn, just beyond the limits of our landscaped grounds—the perfect spot for relaxing with your own family.

You’ll find Baptcare Brookview nestled between Jacana, Attwood, and Gladstone Park, just a 5-minute drive from local cafes, shops, and the Broadmeadows Central Mall.

You’ll have access to the high-quality care you need, and support to do whatever special things make life meaningful and purposeful for you. Everyone is different, and everyone is welcome. Live well, your way

Living well looks different for everybody. Whatever you love to do—whatever makes your day and makes life meaningful—we’re here to make it happen.

Some of the hobbies and activities we support residents with include:

  • Illustration, arts, and painting: some residents have dedicated gallery spaces where they love to work and create art.
  • Gardening in your own dedicated flower bed: creating and painting decorative mushroom sculptures is a current favourite for many residents!
  • Enjoying your favourite music: resident Jeanette loves Adele’s signing—“her lyrics have the gift of putting my life into words” . We organised a CD player with all of Adele’s back catalogue for Joan’s daily music therapy.
  • Playing instruments: resident Paul is a classically trained pianist. We organised a keyboard so he can play for other residents and share his gift.
  • Weekly singalongs from the ‘40s, ‘50s, and ‘60s where we reminisce and celebrate each other’s stories: when we sing ‘Tears on my pillow’ by Little Anthony, we might bond over shared break-up stories. When it’s Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a wonderful world’, we share our most beautiful memories.

What's important to you?

These are some examples, but living well looks different for every person. It’s all about taking the time to understand your preferences, hobbies and passions. We’d love to chat through your favourite things to do when you visit us for a tour.

Choice is important in every aspect of life at Brookview. Food is no exception. You’ll have the choice of two hot options for lunch and dinner, and sometimes three. There are fresh sandwiches and salads available for lunch and dinner, and bowls of fresh seasonal fruit you can enjoy throughout the day, every day.

Personalised dietary preferences

We have regular food focus meetings with residents to help decide the types of meals we offer. While our base menu is approved by a specialised dietitian, we adjust the menu based on your feedback, preferences and individual dietary needs.
