Announcement: Geraldine Lannon is the incoming Chief Executive Officer of Baptcare

  • 31 Aug 2022

After a very rigorous search, I am delighted to announce that Geraldine Lannon is the incoming Chief Executive Officer of Baptcare.

Geraldine has extensive executive leadership experience across metropolitan and rural Western Australian Public Health and Community Services. After starting her career in Nursing, walking alongside and supporting vulnerable people, she has continued to make a strong impact in that sector through attaining multiple clinical, management and governance qualifications including a Master of Business Administration. Geraldine has managed budgets up to $900M, leading positive changes that have improved outcomes for clients and staff in hospitals and health services.

Geraldine has received a Western Australian Health Award and was recognised as a Telstra Women’s Business Awards Finalist. Geraldine grew up within the Irish Catholic tradition in Belfast, and more recently has worshipped in an Anglican community in Western Australia.

We welcome Geraldine to the Baptcare community and look forward to the leadership she will provide to support Baptcare to achieve its mission.

We would like to thank long-serving Chief Executive Graham Dangerfield for all that he has done for Baptcare over more than a decade. His diligence and vision have been pivotal to the growth of Baptcare, and his steady leadership was enormously valuable when confronting the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic. I would like to also recognise Graham’s servant heart and his very practical expression of his faith through his work and support to the Board. We wish Graham well and know that he will continue to make a great contribution wherever he is called to next.
