Located close to the flowing waters of the Werribee River, Baptcare Wyndham Lodge is surrounded by gardens and parklands on leafy Synnot Street.
Those lush natural surroundings are much loved by all, with many residents enjoying peaceful walks by the river to soak up the beautiful greenery that surrounds our home. We’re also just a short stroll from central Werribee, with the convenience of restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and grocers not far from our front door.
Wyndham Lodge is a welcoming and supportive community in the truest sense. We have family members of residents frequently join us as volunteers, and everyone is supported in the way that brings you unique purpose, joy and independence.
Living well together
We’re a thriving community at Wyndham Lodge
The idea of ‘home’ changes for every person. That’s why our approach is uniquely tailored to your personal story, needs and preferences. It’s critical that we listen to you and understand what exceptional care means to you and your family. We start by asking: what are your favourite parts of your daily routine? What makes life meaningful for you? What support do you want or need?
You’ll see and feel the benefit when you visit us at Wyndham Lodge. Every person is supported to live with joy and independence in the way that is most meaningful for them. That’s what makes us such a strong community. Together, we enjoy a full activities calendar designed to support each resident socially, cognitively, spiritually and physically. As with everything here though, it’s all about your choice and the things you love to do.
Live well, your way
Living well looks different for everybody. Whatever you love to do—whatever makes your day and makes life meaningful—we’re here to make it happen.
Some of the hobbies and activities we support residents with include:
- Anne’s creativity shines through the diamond artworks she makes in the lounge each day. They’re popular with residents and visitors, and Janette loves to give each work a new home almost as much as she enjoys creating them.
- At 99 years young, John loves to sit in the courtyard and sunbake to soak up the rays (while practicing appropriate ‘slip, slop, slap’ of course).
- Dorris finds playing piano takes her back to remember treasured moments in her life, so we support her to play throughout the day.
- Thirty years ago, Judy would take her home-grown orchids to the bank each week. One of the tellers, Margaret, asked if she could meet Judy and learn to grow the flowers too. From this brief meeting, a beautiful friendship blossomed. In exchange for orchid tips, Margaret taught Judy how to paint. To this day, every Monday, Margaret visits Judy to maintain the lessons and they paint together over afternoon tea.
What's important to you?
These are some examples, but living well looks different for every person. It’s all about taking the time to understand your preferences, hobbies and passions. We’d love to chat through your favourite things to do when you visit us for a tour.

Choice is important in every aspect of life at Wyndham Lodge. Food is no exception. You’ll have the choice of two hot options for lunch and dinner, and sometimes three. There are fresh sandwiches and salads available for lunch and dinner, and bowls of fresh seasonal fruit you can enjoy throughout the day, every day.
Personalised dietary preferences
